Some of the planned events managed by Capital Productions for the
09-10 season:
- Whitby Village Fair,
Saturday 5 December 2009. 10am-3pm. Held in and around Whitby Village
shopping area, including the church hall, and the grass areas by
the Lagoon. Whitby is a large, sunny, and relatively new suburb.
This is Fair is supported by Porirua City Council.
- Karori Fair, Saturday
12 December 2009. 10am-3pm. Held in the newly landscaped Karori
Community Centre grounds, off Beauchamp St, through to and including
St Johns Hall on Karori Rd for multicultural food stalls. Moving
dates from the previous windy October spring, to better weather
in the pre-xmas December summer, this Fair in NZ's biggest suburb
has a prime location and lovely new grounds to enjoy.
- Khandallah Village Fair, Sunday
13 December 2009. 10am-3pm. Held in Khandallah's shopping area Ganges
Rd and surrounding carparks. This small annual event is very popular
and successful for quality products.
- Kilbirnie Festival '10 , planned
for Sunday 14 March 2010. This is one of Wgtn's biggest community
fairs and markets. More details, and applications, coming soon.
